An art weekend break

Barcelona, April 2016.- Madrid’s Reina Sofia Museum is holding an exhibition dedicated to Wifredo Lam. The artist was the instigator of a hybrid form of painting that united Western modernism with African and Caribbean symbols from his native Cuba. The exhibition traces his singular trajectory through almost 250 works that showcase the context of his oeuvre and thinking.
