From the 10th to the 22th of May the Teatro Real of Madrid hosts the opera version of one of the most popular stories dealing with overcoming complexes, personal accomplishment and love: the famous Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand.
A production of Cyrano de Bergerac directed by Pedro Halffter and starring tenor Placido Domingo in one of the favorite characters from his repertoire. The tenor will share the stage with soprano Ainhoa Arteta, since by a question of fate she will be acting in the first two performances, which represents her debut at the Teatro Real.
