The good weather is coming and so is the Barcelona Week of Terraces! Between 1 and 10 June 2018, Barcelona’s hotels will take centre stage, offering more than 270 different activities. Workshops, cooking demonstrations, tastings, concerts and dance classes are some of the scheduled activities that you should not miss out on.
And as is the case every year, some of our hotels will be participating in this must-attend event. Make a note of our activities!
LIVE MUSIC WITH A VIEW
Can you imagine having a drink with Barcelona at your feet and live music in the background?
Of course, you can! Well, it’ll be possible during the Week of Terraces at our hotels.
Hotel Claris
The Claris Hotel & Spa has scheduled some sessions with Yara Beillison* and DJ Agus on 1 and 2 June, as well as later, on 7, 8 and 9 June. You can enjoy them at the top of the hotel from 9 pm to 1 am, and what’s more, you won’t need a prior reservation!
*Unfortunately, Yara Beillison will not be able to perform due to an accident.
Hotel Bagués
The Hotel Bagués 5* also offers live music, but in a very different style. Overlooking Barcelona’s famous Ramblas, on 6 June you can enjoy the sunset with a DJ session by John Vermont from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm. On the other hand, if you prefer soul music, come on out to the Bagués terrace between 7.30 pm and 9.30 pm on 7 June for some live soul.
Finally, Hotel Granados 83 4*S will be hosting DJ Mattia Bison, a vinyl enthusiast who produces his own music. Mattia will be bringing the rhythm to the heights of Barcelona’s Eixample district with a vinyl session from 7 pm to 9 pm. If you really like a great atmosphere, you should be making a note of this event!
Of course, all the activities are free but capacity is limited, so we recommend you come early.

BARTENDING AND COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS
And of course, this year we also offer some activities for you to bring out your most creative side and get down to work.
If you’re interested in finding out all the secrets of cocktail-making and bartending, you shouldn’t miss out on the Daniel Maddedu masterclass at the Claris! Capacity is limited, so book your place for 6 June and become a real bartender.
Hotel Granados 83 has also prepared an incredible cooking demonstration where you will learn to prepare a fantastic tartare with chef Carlos Álvarez. Prior reservations are not possible for this event—instead, the first 40 people to arrive will be the lucky ones. We look forward to seeing you at 7 pm on 6 June!
